Chicken WonTon Salad
1 head iceberg lettuce-chopped
1 head romaine lettuce-chopped
1 small can water chestnuts
1 c. slivered almonds
3 cooked chicken breast or 1 rotisserie chicken
1/2 pkg won-tons, fried
3/4c. seasoned rice vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp pepper
4-6 green onions- sliced
In a small pan or skillet heat your oil to about 350 degrees F. Fry won tons until lightly browned on both sides.
In a large bowl toss the lettuce, almonds, water chestnuts and chicken.
In a blender add the oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar and onions. Blend until smooth.
Serve your salad with the Won-tons and dressing on the side or right before serving toss in dressing and won-tons.
